The rings are very unique and have a slightly flattened edge to them, giving them a very up to date and modern look.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When attaching Swivel Snap hooks, in the Designer hook range, the 1/2" and 3/4" inch are too small to clip on the gate rings, but the larger sizes will.  In the Flat hook range, the 3/4" will clip on.
